Here’s a very brief tutorial on how to create a folder in Windows and then copy or move files into it. This is a great tip to keep your files, music, photos, data, etc. organized in any Windows OS.

How to Copy & Paste Folders To a New Location In Windows.

If you would like to copy a folder such as your photos and copy them to an additional location such as a Flash Drive, external hard drive, or another folder in your computer simply:

1. Highlight the folder you want to copy with your mouse

2. Right click your mouse a dialogue will appear having the option of copy.

3. Click on COPY.

4. Go to the desired location you wish to copy your folder to, this can be achieved by going to My Computer (Windows menu icon or the Windows icon on your keyboard), find the folder or drive you wish to copy your folder to.

5. Highlight the drive or folder with your mouse

6. Right click your mouse and a dialogue will appear, choose PASTE the files will copy to your new location.
