How to delete or uninstall textPlus
To uninstall textPlus from an Android device:1. On the device press the Menu button to bring up the list of applications
2. Scroll to and select “Settings”
3. Select “Applications”
4. Select “Manage Applications”
5. Scroll to textPlus and select it
6. Press the uninstall button
To uninstall textPlus from an Apple device:
1. Press and hold the textPlus icon
2. Press the red ‘x’ button
To DELETE your textPlus account ENTIRELY:
In order to delete your account entirely, you will need to provide the following information:
• Your registered textPlus username
• Your verified phone number (if verified)
• The type of device you registered with (iPhone, iPod touch, Android phone, regular phone)

I responded to a text from my neice thru textplus on my iPhone. I did not download the app. I would like to remove my # from getting texts thru textplus. I have texted leave several times but that is not removing from receiving text. How can I remove my # permanently?

If you uninstall textPlus from your device you will no longer receive textPlus messages.
In the app, you can block other users by tapping on their profile picture, then select the BLOCK user button. If you don’t have the app and are just an SMS user, you need to contact your cell phone provider to have the number blocked just as you would any other number from any other SMS carrier.
